51st Grammy Awards Best Music Highlights

北京时间1月29日上午，第60届格莱美奖颁奖礼在纽约麦迪逊广场花园球场落下了帷幕，84个奖项各归其主。
The 60th annual Grammy Awards celebrated the biggest names in music Sunday night at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. With 80-plus awards to hand out, there were plenty of victors.

White roses and ‘Time’s Up’|白玫瑰和“时间到了”

此前曾在金球奖上广受支持的#TimesU运动在本届格莱美得到延续，众多嘉宾佩戴白玫瑰出席。
“我们选择白玫瑰作为象征，因为它象征着希望、和平、同情和抵抗。”

Earlier this month, the Golden Globes saw many attendees wear Time’s Up badges to show their support for the star-led initiative against sexual haras**ent and the Grammys equivalent is set to be a white rose.
Most stars have chosen to wear them subtly as part of their outfit. It’s been picked because it’s seen as a symbol of “hope, peace, sympathy and resistance.”
Lorde decided to choose a more extensive statement about #MeToo, pinning a statement to her dress.

Joy and Tears|有欢喜 也有泪水

作为每年最值得期待的音乐颁奖典礼，本届格莱美现场表演环节也是惊喜连连。不同于以往的“颠覆”造型，此次Lady Gaga改走仙气路线，身着淡粉色纱裙，连钢琴都是“天使的翅膀”同款。
Lady Gaga is up on stage with a piano topped with wings. The performance is dedicated to her father’s late sister and it’s a sign of the newer, quieter Gaga. There are no fireworks here, just a chance to show off her impressive vocal talent.

另外一位乐坛女侠Pink以一身简洁着装登台，让人不禁怀疑，这还是去年“飞天表演”的Pink吗？
You may still remember Pink swinging from a trapeze at a previous Grammys show — here she is in grocery-shopping clothes! And just standing behind a microphone, for this ”Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken” was one of her more serious songs.

火星哥 Bruno Mars和 Cardi B 在一登台就嗨爆全场，一曲新歌 Finesse成功打破沉闷气氛。
Bruno Mars and Cardi B perform their recent hit “Finesse,” which is a great way of injecting some energy into the ceremony. With the help of outfits and dancing and flashing lights, they brought much fun to the stage.

另外值得一提的是作为首次参加格莱美的嘻哈女歌手，Cardi B的心情可谓相当激动。一度让主持人无言以对……
Cardi B has remarkable confidence on stage for someone attending the Grammys for the first time. Giuliana Rancic didn’t know what to say after she said this.

Kesha联手Camila Cabello、Cyndi Lauper、Julia Michaels、Amdra Day身着白衣，共同演唱Praying，将整场表演推向**。
这首歌由女歌手们集体呈现有着特别的意义，它不仅反映出欧美娱乐圈声势浩大的反性侵风暴，也象征了Kesha走出自己的悲痛经历。
Kesha is on stage joined by Andra Day, Camilla Cabello, Cyndi Lauper, Bebe Rexha, Julia Michaels and the Resistance Revival Chorus for a performance of “Praying.” They are all dressed in white, mirroring the white roses worn by those supporting the Time’s Up movement.
Kesha sang her heart out, belting her lyrics with dripping, raw emotion. It’s an emotional highlight of the evening, given that it’s a song aimed at her alleged abuser Dr Luke.

Another pivotal moment of the night was a tribute to the victims of the Las Vegas shooting and other instances of gun violence and terrori** at music events over the past 12 months.
Handwritten notes bearing the names of the dead were projected on the stage as country music stars Maren Morris, Eric Church and Brothers O**orne performed Eric Clapton’s “Tears In Heaven.”
And all these stars appeared at the Vegas festival where the shooting took place.
Mars wins big, Jay-Z out|赢家VS陪跑
颁奖礼上的最大赢家当属Bruno Mars和Kendrick Lamar两位。
While Jay-Z entered Sunday as the top nominee, it was Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar who left as the night’s biggest winners.

火星哥Bruno Mars凭借着专辑”24K Magic”和单曲”That’s What I Like”，一举囊括了今年分量最重的年度最佳唱片、年度最佳专辑以及年度最佳歌曲奖，顺便收割了最佳R&B专辑奖、最佳R&B歌曲奖和最佳R&B表演。
Mars pulled off an incredible Grammys sweep, winning all six awards for which he was nominated and snatching the night’s three biggest prizes: Record of the Year for “24K Magic,” Song of the Year for “That’s What I Like” and Album of the Year for “24K Magic.”
He has won three other Grammy awards, namely Best R&B album, best R&B song and best R&B performance.

嘻哈歌手Kendrick Lamar一人包揽了说唱类全部大奖。
Lamar went on to win four Grammys: Best Rap Performance for “Humble,” Best Rap/Sung Performance for “Loyalty” with Rihanna, Best Music Video for “Humble” and Best Rap Album for “Damn.”
“This is a special award because of rap music – this is the thing that got me on the stage, got me to tour all around the world, support my family and all that,” Lamar said while accepting Best Rap Album.

“黄老板”Ed Sheeran拿下“最佳流行专辑”与“最佳流行表演”两座大奖。然鹅，黄老板本尊并未到场。
Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran took home the Grammy Awards for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance, with his album “Divide” and hit single “Shape of You.” As the most played song on Spotify ever, “Shape of You” broke numerous records in 2017.
But Sheeran wasn’t there to collect his award given that he was snubbed in many of the main categories.

除了笑到最后的几位，有些期待貌似要打水漂了。比如之前以八项提名领跑的Jay-Z这次彻底陪跑了。
Jay-Z is already one of the artists with the most accolades in the history of the Grammys with 21 awards. But until this year he had always been passed over for the main categories.

Jay Z not winning any of his eight awards is officially one of the biggest shutouts in Grammys history.
